Historians continue to debate exactly when and where this venerable and world famous society came into being. The best educated guess would suggest it to be a disgruntled off-shoot of ‘The Malangs’, the secretive and infamous private dining club (still going strong) founded by a few undistinguished Pakistani Oxbridge undergraduates in the early 1960’s.
